Terms of Service

1. The service
TextMyTrash sends SMS text reminders about residential trash and recycling collection, including holiday schedule changes where we have verified data. Schedules originate from municipal and hauler sources; we work hard to keep them accurate, but reminders are provided for convenience and are not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your own collection compliance — TextMyTrash is not liable for missed pickups, fines, or fees resulting from missed, delayed, or inaccurate messages.
2. Messaging
By signing up you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from TextMyTrash at the phone number you provide. Message frequency is typically 1–4 messages per week depending on your settings. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Trial and billing
New subscriptions start with a 30-day free trial; no payment method is required for the trial and nothing converts automatically. Continuing after the trial costs $2.50/month or $20/year, covering up to two phone numbers in one household, or $4/month or $30/year for up to four. You can cancel any time from your account page, by replying STOP, or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges. Referral credits extend your free access by whole months; on an annual plan a credit pushes your renewal date out so you still receive the full paid period. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.
4. Your account
Provide accurate information, only add phone numbers whose owners have agreed to receive messages (each added number must confirm by reply before receiving reminders), and don't misuse the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
5. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text My Trash LLC's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
6. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
